Johor Vertical Challenge 2016 will be held at Austin Heights Water & Adventure
Park & Manhattan Sovo Building on Saturday, 16th January 2016 at 6.30 a.m
When is the starting and closing date for registration?
Registration will start on 28th November 2015 and closes on the 9th January 2016
What is the minimum age to participate in this event?
Category Minimum age
Family 7 years old & above
Public 9 years old & above
Professional 9 years old & above
For participants below 7 years old are welcome to join “Family” category without
any registration and finisher medal & running t-shirt will be not given.
How many challenge categories are there?
The event is divided into 3 categories, which are:
Family 2.0km short run
Public 2.0km short run + 912 steps (Single Tower)
Professional 2.0km short run +1650 steps (Twin Tower)
Can I rollerblade or cycle during the challenge instead of running?
No. To ensure the safety of all the participants during the race, rollerblading and
cycling are prohibited on the race routes. Any participant using wheel-run objects
will be requested to exit the course immediately by the officials.

Can I bring my pets along for the event?
No. Pets are strictly not allowed on the race routes.
When and where can I collect my running kit?
Running kit collection will be announced later in Facebook Event Page.
What are the documents that I must bring along during the running kit
Kindly bring your NRIC when you come to collect your running kit.
Can I appoint a representative to collect my running kit on my behalf?
Yes. You may appoint a representative to collect your running kit on your behalf. He
or she must present the following:
(a) Photocopy of your NRIC
(b) Letter of Authorization
Can I change the size of my running tees or challenge category during the
running kit collection?
No. Changes in t-shirt sizes and/or challenge category will NOT be entertained
during running kit collection period.
Can I know the size measurement of the running t-shirt?
For this moment, we unable to provide the t-shirt size chart. You can choose your t- shirt size based on your normal practice. Very sorry for the inconveniences caused.
Can I know the design for running t-shirt?

How do I register?
You can register online via www.hakka.my. After filled in the form & transferred
the money to the stated public bank account, email the bank in slip & your name, IC
no and contact number to firstname.lastname@example.org
Can I register offline or manually and pay by cash?
No, we only accept online payment via debit card, online banking or bank transfer
at the moment. Cash will not be accepted.
How much is the entry fee?
Family RM 35 per pax
Public RM 50 per pax
Professional RM 60 per pax
How will I know of my entry has been accepted?
Registrants will receive a confirmation e-mail within 36 hours upon successful
What are the possible reasons if I do not receive confirmation email after the
registration and payment?
(a) The transaction did not go through.
