I ran out of my morning health bars and like to have one after my 5km walk and before doing my weights. So decided to have a go and make my own. so easy anyone can do it.
So to start I gather my ingredients together, as follows:-
- one egg
- 1 x cup hot water
- 1x cup of muesli
- 1 x cup of rolled oats
- 1 x tsp flax seeds white and red
- hand full of mixed fruits
- honey – squirt type
- sesames seeds
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp of oil, veg or olive
- Almond essence
- walnuts crushed
- almonds cut int bits
- grated chocolate
and just mix it all together and press into 8inch square baking tray and bake 325 for around 25 mins.
let it cool on wire rack then slice into 9 squares.
once cooled i put into sandwich bags and store in fridge up to two weeks.
But never last that long
You can use any ingredients you have on hand no need to measure just into bowl mix and bake.
