My New Car for 2014 – Ordered Today

Well today after lots of research I placed an order for a new 2014 Honda City LV Model – this car has all the bells and whistles of cars that are twice its price and its bigger than most of them.

The colour I chose is Modern Steel – it’s a smooth classic look and has a very sleek finish to it when shimmering in the Malaysia sun.

The All-New 2014 Honda CITY. All three grades are powered with a 1.5L i-VTEC Petrol engine which delivers a maximum power of 118 hp @ 6600 rpm and a maximum torque of 14.8 kg-m @ 4600 rpm.

The class-leading interior is one of the most attractive points of the new CITY. It delivers cleverly generated interior space by further evolving Honda’s ‘man maximum, machine minimum’ philosophy which aims at maximising space available for people and minimising the space required for mechanical components. This design philosophy has enabled new CITY to achieve class leading rear legroom, superior head clearance and knee room. The large trunk space is again class leading.

The waiting time is one month, and I can not wait, the test drive was fantastic and a big surprise for someone who is used to a 2.0 engine however I felt this car had more than enough power for me and quite nippy around the town, it also had the eco button and I can see lots of good use for this out on the freeways of Malaysia and Singapore.

I shall update this page as and when events relating to this purchase come about.

Please feel free to comment and better still if you have one now yourself.
